I have a transgold SR5 (see avatar) with a white pickup cover that seems to be aging more quickly than the white pickguard. I'm thinking of getting a replacement pickguard in 'parchment', 'aged pearl' or something like that to give the bass a little more mojo. I couldn't find pickguards on the EB or MM site but did find some on other 'after-market' sites. I prefer original MM parts on my baby.
Any thoughts or recommendations on how to achieve my goal?
Also, they seem to come in different thicknesses ie (.060 and .090)-- any idea what the stock thickness is?
Thanks for your help.
