Hola,
Question. Do you cat's that are lucky enough to have a herd of basses, specifically an Pre- Ernie ball Stingray and a Sr5, do you notice a BIG volume difference between the two? I read alot of these post where Cat's will say that their Sr5's rattle and shake building's, but I know the pick-up's and circuit's are different, but it seem's my Sr5, Ash-Maple Bass, doesn't have the nut's my 77' has. Just curious to see what other's have to say.

I think the EB Stingrays are a little more refined sounding with the the Pre-EB Stingrays tend to be a little more harsh sounding but very nice nonetheless. Both of them cut through like no other basses i've played. As far as low end, IME the EB's win out on that one with the Pre-EB's having more cutting midrange than super lows.Just my opinion :D
