SR5 sighting (well, hearing first...)

Last night I took my kids to their first rock concert and saw No Doubt here in Denver. It was a great show and Tony Kanal was wailing away on the low end on a variety of 4 stringers. My 9 year old son got a little tired of standing on his chair about 5 songs into their set, so I sat down with him so he could rest a bit. Suddenly I hear a low D and C thunder through the PA and thought that’s gotta be a MM 5 string. My son and I stood up and saw Tony with a killer all white SR5 H thumping away next to Gwen Stafani. He used it for a few other songs throughout the night. It was killer show made even better by a MusicMan bass (no surprise there). And it says a lot that an old guy like me would look at something other than Ms Stafani on stage…

Gwen Stefani is candy for the eyes, thats for sure.
And Kanal's bass playing is awesome too, especially with a Music Man in his hands.

Gwen + Kanal + Music Man + GK = Heaven

I enjoy Kanal's playing. He must have sounded great on a MM. I'm sure I would not have minded seeing Gwen, either.
