Question Std. Morse with SS frets

Hi all,
does anybody switch to SS frets on his/her Standard Morse? I'll re-fret soon, so playing with idea to switch to Stainless. I'm playing lot of tapping, so my style seems much affecting the fret lifetime.

I read that the sound is much brighter and I don't want to have Tele.

I ignore the opinions of individual players on internet forums (because we are all slaves to confirmation bias and there is no consensus agreement) and instead I look for the opinions of luthiers and techs and builders whose opinion I trust. They all say that any tonal change is very small, if there is any tonal change at all. Nothing to worry about.

i wouldn't say it's much brighter. maybe a little bit, but it's not big difference.

And this is why I'm asking people here. I asked two luthiers and both said that character of tone will change.

But thanks for the answers, I'm more to option of SS frets. Even though it will be more expensive than standard frets.

I have three guitars with SS frets. One was re fretted with SS, I can't say it made any appreciable difference to the tone but breathed new life into a guitar I have owned for going on thirty years.

I like the feel of SS for bends etc.

I've never played a guitar with SS frets, but SS frets are different than normal frets.
Steve Morse does a refret for his #1 guitar every year. At the end, he had to change the neck because it was so worn. My guess is that Steve doesn't like SS frets.

If it's too bright after the switch to SS, I wonder if changing to pure nickel strings would lessen that?
