Aww it just needs some fretboard wonder wipes! I don't like the look of dyed fretboards..they look cheap and splotchy to me. Ebony would have jacked up the price significantly.

Isn't the ebony board in the Koa models died though? The ebony board has such a deep black colour, it looks dyed to me.
Ebony is not much more expensive than rosewood. It couldn't be any more than $15-$20 extra per guitar. There is no way! I personally like the sound of rosewood better than ebony. But the look of ebony is just dead sexy!
Lots of companies dye their ebony boards so that they look jet black. A good amount of ebony has some small brown streaks in it. Now Im not saying EB did but I know for a fact other guitar companies do. Not mentioning any names (GIBSON!) lol

Joking? That's exactly what I thought when I saw it. If any guitar ever needed an ebony fretboard, this is it......or maybe a stealth Axis.

I guess what I meant was I'd (we'd) be asking for just another thing from EBMM when they had just given us many things already.
