I posted a few weeks ago wondering what people were using for a footswitch to plug in a piezo equipped guitar (AL in my case) with a stereo 1/4" cable out to the switch, to two monos (A/B) out. I wanted to have a foot switch so I could run out to one amp for the ceramic pick ups and an out to an acoustic amp/DI for the piezo.

I had Jeff at Road Rage Pro Gear build me one and I'm really happy with it! Great product, great service.
Thought I'd share the link if anyone else is interested:

ah, that's who makes them. seen some of Jeff's kit before without actually knowing who made it.

at the moment i'm just using a stereo - stereo cable and the EBM 6190 splitter box. however, i'm about to get an LR Baggs Para DI as it has a stereo loop in it. i can then insert it into one of the loops in my g-system and take the output direct to either the PA or my acoustic amp. that way the piezo will automatically come on depending on whether the loop is preset or not.

Just had a look at his web site and his gear looks top notch.

There's a good thread on splitters here - check out my post #35 on the thread which shows how I made my own - there's not much in them!!

I'm awaiting my EB 6165 Stereo Pan pedal and may convert it to split the stereo input rather than split it before the pedal - It may already do this but will report to the forum when I get it.

Yeah, Jeff makes some great stuff and is fantastic to deal with.

I didn't think the EBM splitter was still available.

Spud,

i've often wondered about using a stereo pan pedal by means of bringing in & out the piezo into the mag sound. in a similar way the fishman powerblend used to before they stopped making it.

let us know how you get on with it.

The EB 6190 splitter box has been discontinued but we should still have one or two in stock - there might be a few other dealers out there with them, too. By the end of this week we will be offering our own box in a few different layouts. Yesterday Nick took an order for the first "different" layout
