Just looking for opinions of other stering users here.
I recently only found out that when switching a pickup from parralel to series it should get warmer with more output. But i find the oposite to be true on my sterling bass....
when puting it into series (3pos. Switch towards neck) it sounds about equally in volume but it has more highs in it. Also more fret noise. Just like a less warmer tone. I checked the electronics and everything seems to be in order and fully original.
anny help or experience on this would be very welcome.

Parallel- More low end scooped mids & a seemingly more treble response

Series- More mid grind

Same volume on the Sterling... on other basses theres usually a volume difference
