As a fan of the Sterling line (I have a JP60 and a Silo 20, and will look to get the Cutlass CT50 when they hit the UK) - I would love to see an affordable 24 3/4 scale Sterling option. Perhaps a simplified version of the Armada, with a bolt on neck and no binding - but an ebony fingerboard, and a push/push coil splitter.

I had an idea what it might look like and quickly produced an image in Photoshop. Essentially the Armada shape but with a more rounded top right section. Now I can't stop gassing over it! SbyMM Pleeeeaaaseee!!!

welcome mayhemmachine,
hope you like the forum, wanna show us pics of your guitars. without they don´t exist :)

Your mockup looks very nice and indeed, an SBMM Armada would be great... I´d have to drool over but only with a set neck as this is imho the main feature of the Armada: the first EBMM with a set neck

Thank you for the warm welcome banjoplayer...
Great forum. I hear what you say about the set neck, that would be fine for me as long as the back of the neck was unpainted.
I'll try and upload a pic of my two SbyMM.

I have been so happy with these...

I will probably get a Cutlass CT50 when available in the UK, and a Sterling Armada (designed as above) would be a perfect match for the set!! :)

I like it !

The volume pot is better positioned on your mock-up than on the Armada !

EBMM needs more guitar models with 24 3/4 scale.

Hi fbecir,

Thanks for that, I totally agree with you. I think simplifying the design would also appeal to a greater audience...
