One thing that the EBMM could do with the Sterling 5 is give it wider string spacing, to appeal to the folks that like 5s with more 4-like spacing.

Might open up a whole new market...

What say ye knuckleheads? Good idea, or bad?

I love my SR5 neck, but wide is nice too..

This is one of those discussions that gets a lot of heat over on other discussion boards. The Sterling is also known for its 'thinner' profile, so I doubt seriously that it's going to get a lot of traction.

The "wider spacing" crowd has lots of other choices, right?

Let's not run this one up the flagpole, please. EBMM has a design team, a marketing team, they know a bit more about this stuff than do we.

Thanks.

no problem.

I definitely agree that the EBMM team knows what they are doing.

...and had no idea this was a hot-button issue elsewhere. We musicians are a crazy lot!
