I'm in Boston on vacation today and was by fenway and saw a GC and stopped in. They had a sterling 5 so I decided to give it a try. I usually don't like 5 strings, and haven't played a stingray or bongo 5 in a long time so can't really compare, but this is by far the best 5 I've ever played. My next bass I was getting was going to be a classic Ray, but I've gotta have a sterling 5.

The Sterling 5 is a really nice machine, isn't it?

You can't miss with Sterling 5, I mean in any pickup configuration!

Sterling 5 is still my No.1 Music Man bass!

There's no gig, place, band, music genre ...etc., that can't cut through with EBMM Sterling 5 bass, especially when using bridge H in serial! It's a brutal tone killer! ;)
(trust me, I own one, look at the signature)
