I have finished my research to see if this is possible, the answer is no, it is not, the body routing from the factory for the vintage type tremolo is too large for a floyd to fit properly, while the factory mounting studs could be pulled, plugged with a maple dowel and redrilled in proper location for floyd, the routing is not something that can easily be worked around. Just an fyi to anyone whom maybe was intrigued by the idea like myself. Case closed. I guess that is why Sterling made the AX4 guitar.
