Hi lads,

I have received from UK store a guitar recently, apart from its odd setup, I've tried to setup it perfectly, but fret buzz is still there, feels on 5th low string (A) on 12 frets and 13, some buzzing occurs on low E string as well 1st and 2nd frets , and D string as well, the funny thing is even with the highest height of tremolo (string action) it is still there.

I've looked at the neck angle and it seems to be as it is dived a bit too far as normal, has anyone experienced the same? or do you have the same neck angle?

Please advise.

From your pictures, it's impossible to say what's going on (as is often the case online - without the guitar in front of me I would be very hesitant to suggest any fixes and I'm not inexperienced in these things). A simple setup job may fix it, or maybe there is something else going on.

Your first port of call here is the store you bought it from. Your warranty is valid with them and they should fix any issues you have. If they can't help you, either return it and get a replacement or a refund, or try the SBMM UK distributor (Strings & Things Ltd.) or SBMM customer service themselves. That's what they are there for.

Good luck!

Hi DrKev,

Thanks for explaining. As regarding the guitar, tomorrow will be collected by DPD and sent back to M B Music Ltd, they said going to inspect an item. This can be fixed by placing a playing card depending on the height, under the neck where it's mounted - the problem will go away. Truss rod didn't help neither - so it is really odd. I appreciate that it is really hard to say what is wrong with the guitar, haven't seeing it in a real, but I must say - string action was set to maximum until you get the high e buzz, because of string action set to high it touches the locking bolt of the moving saddle. So fret is still there - which remains the last either frets itself needs to be polished - or neck angle readjusted.
This models doesn't have any neck adjuster.

I'll let you know what the dealer will say to me.

Thanks.
