Sterling by MM vs S.U.B

Hi everyone,I already have a made in U.S.A. MMSR4 and I would like to get another bass,I was thinking that the new Sterling by MM would be great and I was wondering if it's comparable to the SUB in terms of sound and quality(finish)and playability?

And also,are they all available with maple fingerboards.My U.S.A. is rosewood so I would like to get diferent here .....Thanks

i have an SUB MM and it slays.....not as good as the Sterling MM but well made though.
