I wish you guys will import your stuff to the CIS countries some day. Our beginners still have to buy crappy guitars/basses which even cost higher than SBMM. I really wanted to buy a Silo guitar for my wife but we have any here :)

They'll all be lined for now. We are considering a 5'er.

The reason for the lines? At our price point, we are figuring this will be somebody's first foray into a fretless so the lines make sense.

We may do unlined in the future, and may do the 5 only unlined, not sure yet since we are still doing our research, and, these are just starting to hit the stores now.

Thanks! With the rosewood boards, are you shipping them with rounds or flats.

About the lines and the expectation of marketing to
FL noobs ... Some makers please damnt near every
sorta buyer with partial lines at the bass-side edge.

Usually the lines wrap far enuf around the side of
the FB to also serve as the side dots. This benefits
noobs cuz it puts the side markers ON the notes
instead of in between [like as if with fretted ax]. I
always paint out the in between dots and paint on
new ones where they really belong, ON the notes.

Acoarst, NOT having full width lines shows off the
bootiful rosewood, and is also lower maintenance,
cuz with lines, having 21 plastic filler strips, some
strip somewhere always pops up a bit and causes
a buzz for us low-action players.

I do not accept cash for consulting, but you can
send me an edge-line production sample for long
term study :)
