Sterling by Musicman question

I'm looking to purchase one the new awesome mint green Ray CA's ASAP. First I would like to thank the great minds at EB for making this bass, because now I can have my dream Stingray for well under a grand.

My question is, will the Stingray pick-guards purchased from EB be a drop in replacement for this bass?

if the stingray pickgaurds are being made to fit the old pickups then i don't think so.

The Sterling Ray CA uses the old pickup too so i think it might fit.
