Sterling by Musicman Silo30 pickguard

I finally tracked down a SBMM Silo30 with a rosewood fretboard. I want to load up a new pickguard with different pickups, but I can't remember a couple things.

1. Will a Silo Special PG fit a Silo30?

2. What would I need to change to make it fit?

I've read somewhere on here the 2 guards aren't compatible though I don't know how 'off' they are from each other.
