I recently bought a Sterling Cutlas see try a shorter length guitar.
I have MANY guitars from Major builders and frankly surprised at Fit & Finish of this Cutlas.
I’m not complaining about it because I enjoy working on guitars.
This one needed shims on the neck to get the string action need acceptable height.
The tremolo was decked and it came with no tremolo arm.
It all turned out good but the tone and volume controls have a “very unique” interaction. A decent tone can be acquired [despite the pickups] by varying the volume and tine controls.
Anyone know about the pickups or tone controls?
Thanks
