Just the misses. ;)
I promised her dinner out if she would corral the kids and stay around the house today.

She just tosses them in the pool and lounges around reading a book. Tough job.

All righty.
So it came at 6:30pm. I was hanging on the porch with the kids when he arrived. He paused when he got off the truck with the package, I guess he saw the impatience in my eyes. :D
So, I unwrap the puppy, and you know what, not what I expected.

IT WAS FRIGGIN SO MUCH MORE!
Holy cow, the neck is thin and smooth, and the strings are even slick. I take back what I said, the EB strings are way better than the Warwick strings, I would put them on my corvette.

And I had a brother-in-law and friends stop by and I have to say with all my hype over the weeks about the insturment they were 'yeah yeah', 'ugly color', and 'it's just a bass'.

But once they saw it live, they were pretty much saying "Holy S**t!"

They loved the color, the look, the feel.

And oh yeah, the sound is frigging awesome.

True to what I read, you can dial anything in.

I am in love, and the pictures will be up tomorrow. I played it all night I just don't have it in me to focus on taking pictures right now.

Now I am heading back to my new Mistress. ;)

And I can guarantee my fretless is going to be a pacific blue Sterling with a single Humbuck and a white perloid PG. :D

Thanx EB and Bass Central for all that you do.

Cya all in the AM.

Grasshopper, next time take the pictures first! You learn that after the first 3 or 4 EBMM's

Good point, Chuck. This is a rookie mistake. First, photos. Second, whatever else you need to do. But first, the photos. I thought this had been firmly established.

You were doing so well until the "my corvette" part. I was willing to cut you slack on the photos-first fiasco, but now I'm afraid I'm going to have to hit you with a technical foul. Psycho Ward gets to take the free throws! Naked!

Swear to play Slinkys and I'll forgive you.

The Martini Olive Green is completely mind-blowing in real life. I tried to take some decent pics of my Flaming Biff Bongo, which is the same green, and they came out okay, but they still don't quite convey the Cool Factor. It's shocking, isn't it?

Happy but completely unsurprised to hear how pleased you are!

Jack

PS: Photos, you n00b!

LOL, well I did forget to mention my brother-in-law ( a drummer) left with the Warwick. He has been voicing an intrest in learning the Bass for fun.

I think I am going to let him keep it to rack up some points with him and my wife(his sister of course).

That just helps that next Sterling get here all the faster. :D

LOL, well my wife asked if she gets to sleep in the bed again or is "Olive" taking her place.
But rest assured that my next Sterling, a blank plank, will be in the cards later this year. And that's with even starting our 4th and final adoption. :D
