Took my new Sterling HS out on it's first gig last night and it came through like a champ. Did a 4 1/2 hour gig playing almost 40 songs with no shoulder strain whatsoever. The lighter body and smaller neck of the Sterling make it perfect for my cover band gigs. The tone was incredible and covered everything from Sublime to Skynyrd and then some....I mostly used positions 3 and 4 as they seemed to cut through the best in the room I was playing however there are great sounds to be had in all five positions. Thanks to EBMM for making the best tools available at any price for the bass guitar enthusiast.....:)

Question: pick or fingers? And where do you do your picking/plucking, over the bridge PU, neck PU, or...? Just curious.

I too was blown away with my first HS Sterling. With both pickups selected that tone is simply awesome!
