My cousin is the keyboardist and we played at his own wedding. It was a blast. Pardon the expression of bliss on my face. That's what the Sterling does to me. Gawd, I look stupid. :p:eek::D

Nice looking HS Ed! Can't wait to get mine!

How do you like it?

Nice Bass rig!

I've got the Little Mark II - working on the 410 can to match!

Not half as stupid looking as the guy playing the Flying V at a wedding :D

That was so funny it made me have an accident. :D I gotta tell him somebody wrote that. We love to give him a hard time about his V. Hey, but I also have a Bongo and you know what kind of flack we always get, but I don't give a hoot.

I love my HS going through my LMII/410HF. I put this in another post, but I really like this combo. I really like the way it cuts through the mix. I have a Bongo, an American Jazz, and a SUB4 but I can't get them to do what the Sterling does in a live situation. (Even though I really really want to.)

On the other hand, when I'm playing by myself, I really like to pick up the Bongo.

Wow, Billy, I just saw you ordered the LE Blue Dawn HS. Killer, man!

You look like you're having a great time, but your guitarist looks like he's wrestling that V (and coming off second best). I think you can get away with playing any instrument at any function, as long as you look like you're enjoying yourself. So, Bongos at funerals, Flying Vs at weddings and lavender mist Stingrays at biker bars are all fine in my book.

aussie mark that was a classic all timer.....nobody has ever gotten laid playing at a wedding with a flying V.

Yeah, but the last time I played a lavender mist Stingray at a biker bar, I got lucky.

Our initial reaction was "You are playing at your own wedding?" But he (and she) both wanted it so we compromised and played a bunch of no keyboard songs. Then he jumped in for several tunes at the end.

His wife is Peruvian so we played a bunch of Latin stuff as a surprise. Santana's Black Magic Woman/Smooth, La Bamba, etc. She and her family got a big kick out of it cause we usually play more standard classic rock/alternative.
