Hey,
Could some one tell me the body length of a Sterling (end of body to end of upper horn) and overall length (end of body to end of headstock). Thanks

I just measured mine (my Sterling, that is), and it was roughly 18 1/2 inches from bottom to top horn, measured laterally. You would add about another 1/2 inch if you included the two strap buttons. Measured diagonally, its roughly 20 inches, or 20 1/2 button to button.

Holdsg, thanks a million, you saved me a trip to the local GC with a measuring tape. Reason why I asked is because I sold my Sterling Sub in order to put that money towards a regular US made Sterling but then another bass caught my eye but I wasn't sure which one had the shorter body. I don't like big-body & long-body basses. Well looks like the Sterling wins...don't know why I even thought for a second about another bass. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
