Being a crummy guitar player, I could not justify nor afford the real deal, but i've always wanted a Music Man guitar so I just bought this one used. I can't imagine the real Music Man being much better than this one. Great tone, sustain, and stays in tune well. I was wondering how you all felt about the Sterling model, but I just read some recent posts and topics about the Sterling and they certaingly don't seem to be thought of harshly. I hope the pics i'm including arrive with this post. I know how you all demand them. Ha Ha.

Lots of us with Music Man guitars have or have had AX20s. I bought one of the promo ones and refinished it in a natural tru-oil over the basswood. Sold it to an EVM collector who I told about this forum and now he's here too.

They are great guitars. The Music Man guitars are something you have to play to believe.

Nice one Slofingers! I like that color. It looks orangey! Yes i like the AX20 quite a bit actually. I think they are great value for the money for sure! They play great, sound great and look great!! can't really go wrong.

Hey there's my AX20 pictured above! hee hee. Thanks for selling to me Jack! I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with my top. I bought some quilted Veneer strips that look real nice but I think I'll hold off for now. It might be easier to paint it one solid color. Or even easier to keep it as-is with the Tru oil.
