:)

I asked in another thread but it was way off topic so I'll ask in a fresh thread.

The Sterling pickup has 4 leads for splitting the pickup:

White
Black
Green
Red

Most splitting pickups have these same lead colors but they function differently so if anyone knows which is which can you let me know?

Thanks

What are you trying to do with the pup?

I have an under view pic of the Sterling pup showing the wiring as it should be...if thast's what you need.

.
Actually, I am going to add a pickup. So I need to know which two leads to splice into to add a single coil (no splitting).

Black and red are normal + and - but usually on a split pickup the red and green are connected to join the two coils in series and the white is the + and the black the -...although I've seen it other ways. I just wanted to make sure before I tear into this and it ends up costing me repair money. ;)
