Has anyone setup their piezo Sterling with TI Acousticore strings, and if so how has it worked out? Also, i didn't realize that EB made a phosphor bronze set - the "Earthwood" - are they similar to the TI acousticores and can be used with the piezo Sterling?
thanks

Acouticores are unique, having nylon cores. Regular brass or
bronze wound 'acoustic' strings have steel cores. I've never
put acousticores on my piezo MM's, but I play them on some
other metal-bridge piezo beast [Fishman saddles] and it's a
very cool set up.

OTOH, when you choose Acousticores, you give up the mag
PU, and there's bokew good joojoo in the 50/50 and 60/40
blends of piezo to mag PU tone.

And OT3rdH, Acousticores are better suited to FL basses in
that, being nylon cored, life's a beach keeping them in tune
for a fretted neck.
