That is the beauty of this forum, with BP linked in, he can hear from MM users and understand what people are wanting in an instrument. It is the best customer relations ever. It is proactive.

I have been on the Honda Ruckus scooter forum which is not hosted by Honda and obviously not checked by Honda. If Honda did look in then they would offer a particular scooter color that is only available in Japan but is obviously what everyone is dying for in the US. Have an ear to the people.

That one of him at the pedal steel - in the tux - he looks like James Bond.

Well, okay, a young Sean Connery.

Dashing, what?

So, is the Sterling basically a lighter weight stingray, with the switching pickup of the SR5 ?

I love the tone of my SR5.....but the Sterling seemed "ultra-light" and comfy, though it was a 4 string.

How do they compare to SR4's ?

thanks

Well I'm probably not the most qualified person to answer this question, but heres a quick rundown.

first came the SR4- chunky neck, bigger body, Musicman Humbucking pickup
then the SR5- Musicman Humbucking pickup with phantom coil (so essentially it has three coils) and 3 way switch for series, parallel, and single coil options
Then they made the sterling- slim neck, smaller lightweight body, with the same electronics package as the SR5

hope that helps ya out
