Hey guys!! New to this Forum!! I recently did a demo/review video for the new DNA DNS210 cabinet and used a Sterling Ray 35 for the demo...I am really blown away by the quality of this bass...let alone the B string!!! It's one of the coolest and best sounding inexpensive 5's out there!! Only half of the video is of the Ray 35, the other half is of an OLD 1993 Lakland 4-94. I am going to re shoot the video so the different horn settings are audible...just wanted to post the video here!!
Thanks!!
P.S. The music at the beginning of the video is also of the Ray 35.

Hey Steve...You might not get to many folks to comment on here on Ray35 since most folks regulars on here are in the boutique side of things here (thats not a dig folks) However I think this basses kick b00ty and really like them them, I gig with them all the time. I see you have a RAY34CA in green, I put the maple neck from the sunburst CA on my green CA and totally dig it, I prefer it over the 30the Anniversary Stingray that is in my possession right now IMHO. Its my main 4 string at the moment.

(Don't throw any rocks 30th loves...Its just my take).

Thanks guys!! The Ray 35 is quickly becoming my "go to" bass!! This is a killer forum...I've been lurking around here the past couple of days!!
Here's a link to my website and I actually just reshoot and rerecorded the DNA 210 cab review because I wasn't very happy with the way the horn was recorded...and guess which bass I used?? RAY 35!! At least for the first half!! Haha!!
I'm amazed at the quality of these insrtuments!! Both in terms of sound and construction!! Keep up the great work guys!!!
BTW-where's the fretless model..??? :D

FYI-My "go to" setting is the p/u lever in "series" mode, lever closest to the neck, and the eq flat (unless I need to goose a certain freq). This is also the setting I used to record the videos.
