Sterling Ray34-QM pickup alignment side to side

Hey all, I’ve just picked up a Ray34QM bass that I absolutely love. While it sounds amazing my OCD is a little out of line because the strings aren’t centered over the pickup. The G string is almost completely off of the magnet poles. Am I the only one? Do I dare try to tweak the neck? I can’t say I’ve seen this happen before.
