Sterling Ray4 neck question

Hello? I’m fairly new to bass, mainly a guitarist, and I have a Musicman Stingray passed down to my by father, but because of its sentimental value, I’ve decided to keep it mainly stored in its case. So for recording, I bought a Sterling Ray4 with a maple neck, and I’m loving it. My only problem is that I prefer a rosewood fretboard, and I saw that a Ray2 comes with a purpleheart fretboard. What I’m wondering is whether the neck of a Ray2 will fit onto my Ray4 body. I found a used Ray2 around my area for a good deal, so I would like to just make sure just in case. Not sure if I am allowed to post a thread about this since it’s the Ernieball forum, but I am new to the bass community so please cut me some slack thank you in advance!

Looking at specifications I can find online, the width of the neck at the heel is listed as the same, so I think it will fit. That's not a promise, but I think so.
