Sterling Sting Ray 5

I'm looking at this bass on the used market and I'm having some trouble finding info as to why it would be nearly twice the cost of some of the other 5 string Sterlings I've seen. Can anyone help validate the price for me? Seller is asking $700 and it seems to be on very good condition, like new. I'm pretty sure he bought it in 2019.

Those go for $999.99 new in USD. What exactly do you want to know? If you feel they are asking too much, offer lower.
