One of my favorite visionaries. As a shareholder and product user i'm very sad.
Pancreatic cancer is certainly no picnic. And yet since his diagnosis, iphone, ipad etc. Just amazing!

This is such a big loss for the world.
I am amazed how much I actually care. I didn't know him and I've only been a Mac-user since 2 years now. Still, I cried when I watched all these "summary of Steve Jobs life" videos on youtube.

He will be missed! RIP.

So sad. He began not only the revolution in personal computing, but changed the face of the music industry with mass-market MP3 players as well. Not a huge apple fan myself, but his contribution to the world we live in today is undeniable.

I am not sure that the Chinese slave who are working in the Foxconn plants are crying ...
I am really shocked that people consider that Steve Job is a hero just because he found a lot of way to make money (mainly by convincing us to buy products we did not really need).
Mass-market MP3 players ? Well really a nice invention for humanity : Hearing impairment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are a lot of non-governmental organizations who are doing a lot more than Apple for humanity. Sadly for a lot of people it's more important to own the new IPhone (it's so cooool) than helping organizations that are fighting against leprosy (La Fondation Raoul Follereau) or starvation

Sorry I am not cool

At the end everybody is equal, right?
The loss in the family is different than ín the buisness world that´s for sure.

A brilliant seller until the end - I bet he knew he was going soon and they hold the iPhone 5 back until the market goes down because of his death and then spring 2012 they release his heritage product.

Hope some of his money goes to good causes.

I think we all agree its difficult for everyone to be everything to all...But Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are donating their fortunes and they really don't get credit for that. They're just known as super rich.

From ipod and ipad, to pixar movies and the personal computer, and of course iphone...I think Jobs has reserved himself a place in history few if any ever arrive at. And I wouldn't be surprised if some of his wealth makes its way to health issues. But even if all of it does...he won't be remembered for that.

I am in no position to pass judgement on anyone. I believe he was a brilliant guy who did as good as someone can in this life and also read he was a very generous man, it also is a wake up call to all of us about our mortality. It is true that the richest people on the planet always seem to live much longer, or get cured of an illness that the average Joe would not have a remote chance of recovering from. But death does not discriminate, still one of the greatest lines ever written, Kansas-Dust in the Wind, 'And all your money wont another minute buy." R.I.P
