Awesome video, Luke has the best guitar sound period (imho), so who better to ask about how to get a great sound, than ask the master.

Luke story

Luke is my hero. I am a huge Toto fan and stumbled onto Luke after hearing him play on a Chicago record. I wish I would have heard about him sooner, I would be a much better player than I am.

I just bought a Luke in Luke blue! A friend suprised me with an all access pass at a Toto show a couple years ago.I had Luke to myself for about an hour after they played Richmond. It was definitely a high mark in my musical life. He was as cool and nice as he could be. If I hadn't been slightly drunk (which I kick myself for, but had no idea my friend was gonna suprise me), I could have asked much more interesting questions to him, but the whole band was unbelievably nice, Luke was so gracious...even got me a beer! I had a million questions about his tone and solos...I just couldn't stop acting like a teenager (I'm 43) But we did talk about this guitar and others he owns. Met Bob Bradshaw too!
Its amazing to me that someone so popular could be THAT down to earth and laid back..

I am a little old to be buying guitars just because my hero says they are cool, but after playing a couple of gigs with this axe, I can see why he endorses MM. It still is an adjustment to make for me, but I get more used to it every gig. These are great guitars.....now if I could just get his rig?

Awesome story bro. I've met Bob Bradshaw myself, he was really nice, he was more than happy to answer all my "guitar geek" questions, and was just a real pleasure to talk to.

Petrucci demonstrates the same philosophy of using stereo delays instead of reverbs in his videos. I love that crystal clear huge sound.
