Steve Morse at Berklee

Hi everyone

I thought I would share this with you. Steve Morse and his son Kevin stopped by Berklee this past Friday to check out the college. Kevin is thinking of attending next year. My good friend Jon Finn spent the day with them and showed them around.

One of the activities planned was for Kevin to sit in my Rock Styles Class. He did so and he fit right in! We spent the hour working with the Major Scale Modes and did a TON of playing. Not surprisingly, Kevin is already a great player! I was also able to hang out with Kevin and Steve later that day. Man, not only is Steve one of my all time top guitar heroes but he is such a nice guy too! It was a great day for everyone involved

I hope I attached the photo correctly, haha... His son Kevin is in the red shirt holding his dad's very famous Blue guitar! Yes that is the original Also notice the other Balls in the room including the two Sils, haha....I am starting a EBMM revolution there!

Yeah I have more and more students now playing MusicMan guitars; mostly the JP modals and a few sils. I've been thinking about getting all of them together for some pics at some point. That would be cool I think

You're right Brickglass, many MM in the photo for sure, haha... Noticed how we made sure to get those right in the front

BP, Kevin spoke very highly of you in the class too which was really cool. Originally, they were going to come up a couple of weeks ago but it got changed to this past Friday. It was a true honor and privilege for me having Steve and Kevin there. Very inspiring
