Has anyone on this Forum attempted to play, "The Well Dressed Guitar"? I only have the live version from Deep Purple Live at the Rotterdam Ahoy.

A very well written song that keeps the fingers movin' !!

Yes I play it from time to time

It´s not that difficult as it may seem. It´s kind of a drill exercise (mainly the beginning passage and the quick alternate picking part towards the end). The more often you play it the better you get ;)

Steve does that basic exercise frequently- you often hear him working on those kinds of arpeggios. As Banjoplayer says, it's not as bad as it sounds, just keep at it. Start slowly and gradually increase the metronome.
