Watched some OLD Steve Morse/DIXIE DREGS video I have this weekend. Back when Mark O'Connor was playing violin around 1982. It was AMERICAN BANDSTAND with Dick Clark. They played CRANK IT UP and BLOODSUCKING LEACHES off Industry Standard.
Sounded exactly like the album. Then I noticed steve (and Mark when he doubled on guitar on Leeches) weren't even plugged in! Just miming the whole thing. Sort of a Milli Dregilly.
But in the weirdest moment, on another cheesy show they did, steve is facing the drums during the intro of a tune and taped to his butt is a piece of paper with the words "WE'LL DO ANYTHING" written on it.
Soon as the intro is over, steve rips it off and lets it fall to the ground.
Anyone know if Steve has any new Dregs music in the works??
None was played during the Jan shows?
