Picked this up the other day and noticed a thank-you in the liner notes to 'Sterling Ball and everyone at Ernie Ball" which was nice

Are we going to see another big name EBMM endorsee?

He's a EB string endorsee for years. Switched to Cobalt slinkys not long after they came out. (At first he didn't like 'em as much as normal slinkys, but his tech left them on the guitars and THEN he fell in love with them. So EB owes Vai's tech a big thank you!)

Wouldn't it be great to see Steve playing an American made ebmm? I'm a huge Vai fan, but it's time to move on from the monkey grip.
