lately my forearm is getting stuck on my jp6. it sucks because when i play tightly it takes my elbow out of the equasion so im not playing smoothly. im getting frustrated. ive tried a couple types of polish and nothing works. any suggestions?

i used to do that back in the days before ebmm and it worked. with the jp6, that cutaway fits so flush against my forearm that there is just too much contact for the sweatband to be effective. thanks though:)

I'm so not a believer in finish polish for just such reasons. I'd try to remove whatever wax or polish build up is on there, especially if it didn't do this when the guitar was new. I clean mine with a little dish detergent and a warm damp cloth, never sticky.

I've done that on a few guitars and they let my arm glide over them as good as new!

I suppose you could always grow excessive forearm hair and use that to reduce friction.

Instead of a sweatband how about the top of an old tube sock. Or argile if fashion is your thing. I've been known to use those in the past and they worked great for me.
