Sticky neck / Summer Humidity...how to cope?

Hi guys,
Was out playing outside all weekend at Michigan International Speedway with my Bongo, 90 degree days, 4 hour shows, and humid as heck, and I had a lot of problems with stickyness on the neck of my Bongo. Anything I should be putting on it to keep it from getting sticky in the summertime / humidity?

On the plus side, I had about 100 people waiting to talk to me after the show saying, 'WHAT IS THAT BASS? WHERE CAN I GET ONE?" Nice.

Chalk's your friend. And it ain't just Bongos. I've used chalk with those weird off brand F#nd#r things, too, outdoors in Texas.
