I have an excellent condition 2000 Stingray 5 that I would like to sell.
The bass features:

Vintage Sunburst with Matching Headstock
Maple Fretboard
White Pearloid Pickguard
3-Band Eq
and OHSC

I'm asking $999 + shipping
or consider a trade for a

Stingray or Sterling tricked out i.e matching headstock, pearloid pickguard, or limited edition color. I'm hoping the guy with the Buttercream Sterling will email me back but if not anybody else interested let me know I can send more pics.

Thanks
Charlie

From what I have seen for sale, you might be asking a bit much...Someone will chime in here who knows more than I about prices

Kind sir, StingRay 5 owner.

I have owned/bought/sold/traded more Ernie Ball MusicMan basses than most. Im not Jack or Scott Cutrer, but I have seen my fair share of EBMMs.

With that, I present my next statement.

On the bass forums, EB, the Dudepit, TalkBass, the usual price for a used SR5 is $850. Also when trading for items close in value, like SR5 for Sterling, those are usually done as even trades.

So, take it for what its worth, thats just the way the used market works.

Yeah I totally understand the trade straight across thing, but what I meant was that I've seen Stingrays within the last month sell for $600 for basic models, and by basic I mean like Black with Black pickguard no matching headstock. So if someone was to sell one for $600 I would ask maybe $200 along with the bass.

I've sold stingrays new and used for 5+ years and I've had no problems selling a used stingray 5 for 900-1000 in my area.

It just takes time
Thanks
C
