Stingray body/neck, Sterling electronics

Was there ever such configuration?

I love the Sterling sound.. but the smaller body and slimmer neck simply aren't for me..

Im curious to know.. since I understand Sterlings are very popular amongst people who really like Musicman basses.

The older stingray 5 basses where electrically the same as sterlings. But sr4 single h basses where never made with ceramic pickups and switching.
