A few days ago I purchased a 2011 Stingray Classic, absolutely wonderful instrument!
Noodled about on it etc, a bit of fret buzz here and there, little rise of the action.
3-D printed a thumb rest for it as all.
I’ve wanted one for years, took it to a gig last night andddddddd bit of a problem…
Playing in the upper register of the neck for “By the way” RHCP, oh did she ever buzz like crazy past the 12th fret all the way to the 21st.
Took it too my tech today, the frets are absolutely shot and there’s a “ski jump” at the bottom of the neck. So a re-fret with stainless steel has been booked in!

Note: I took the picture of it from the website, I didn't get a picture of it with my phone yet. Only had it a few days before I noticed the problem, no hanging about with me, I like to get things done soon as possible.
