I know I know... this is what customer service is for. But, before I do that, I'll pose these questions to the very knowledgeable folks here.

Concerning the new Stingray guitar.

1) Are the pickup covers standard size to what they've always been in past, which would be standard dimarzio sized?

2) Is the trem block brass or steel?

The reason I ask is I'm considering one of these, but can't live with vintage voiced humbuckers in a bolt neck guitar. I have covered dimarzio Super 3 and Liquifires sitting new in boxes in my closet.

1. They have standard size hum buckers so the Dimarzios should fit no problem.

Dimarzio covered pickups are not standard sized. They are larger and require larger routs/cutouts. That is why I'm asking if they fashioned their own pickup dimensions to the dimarzio dimensions.

I never realized that. I have swapped humbuckers to covered dimarzio before without routing. In this case if that were true you most likely would only need to enlarge the pickguard opening. I can measure the cover if that is helpful.

If you could measure them, that would be great! :)

Sorry for the delay. It looks like it's around 2.7" long and 1.5" wide. So the width is pretty standard and the length is, if anything, a tad shorter than lots of humbuckers. Sounds like maybe the Dimarzio might be a tad larger BUT because it's a pickguard mount I really think that the most it would require is a bit of enlarging to the pickguard.
