Stingray Mystery

I just took delivery of this Stingray:

....which I love to bits, but the serial number suggests that it's a 1991 model, which Dan has confirmed, but there's not a mark on it?? Surely it can't be 17 years old?? Is there another way to tell?

Mystery solved already I think, it's serial number is prefixed with an 'E', something I didn't know was relavant, turns out it looks like a 2002.

I made the mistake of selling my 05 ray a few months back. This one reminds me what I've been missing, love it to bits. I love that sound so much.
