A little bit of topic, but hey:

I just noticed a cheap Musicman on Ebay, but the seller is from Germany, so I can't test the bass. Does ebay offer actually offer some kind off warranty? I heard they did, but I suppose it'sn ot for everything.

I wouldn't count on eBay to do anything except take your money. The seller has 0 feedback, and SR4's are plentiful on the secondary market. There's nothing about this one that makes me think it's worth going after.
