stingray plate, should I worry ?

Hi,

I am currently looking for a stingray, I think I may have found it, but... it has this small thing on the rear plate... It seems to be nothing, but I would like to be sure, this is much money... Do you think I should worry ?

It looks like the chrome is bubbling above the "Ball".

It won't affect the bass functionally.

Yeah, the chrome just didn't adhere right to the metal underneath. It's just a visual downside, but doesn't present any problem in the bass itself. It may begin to flake off in the future, but that is not a problem either, just visual. If it REALLY bugs you, you could probably email EB customer service and get the neck plate replaced.....maybe.
