Stingray Problem? - Body "Ringing"...

Hi, I just bought a new Music man Stingray HH SLO Special. It's really nice except when I pluck the open A-string, the whole body rings out with this sort of high-pitched tone and I was wondering if that was just normal resonating in the body or something or if there's something wrong with it. It's kind of loud so I feel like it might not be good. Any help?
