Has anybody ever seen a Stingray with a Q-Tuner successfully installed? I'm thinking about ordering one, but I don't know if I can get it properly installed.

I've just recently played a Bongo, and I love the neodymium pickup. Even if I don't go neo, I'd like to get an active pickup.

Sterlings have neo pick ups too, and just about every MM has active electronics.
But the Q-thingie is passive, just like all MM pick ups. It seems to me like you got some weird ideas about what's important, but that's just me.

Yeah, I know they're passive, but they sound amazing, and they look crazy. Still though, if I can't get one, I'd like to get an active pickup to match the electronics.
