stingray serial no.

hey all,

i am interested in buying a used stingray bass. the fella who's selling it isn't exactly sure about how old it is. the serial no. is: E18343. i appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi Derek...another NewBee...welcome.

Subject to what Derek, at Uncle Ernie's, has to say, that would have to be a Sept 2000 Bass (there is the odd serial that doesn't run in chronological order....but nothing like the Pre-EB serials).

Gav is on the money. 09/00 Getting pretty good.

I think he and bovine have hacked into our database and are getting the inside scoop.

This bass is a SR 2EQ Trans Red maple neck white pickguard model when it left the factory.
