My main 4 string is 11 lbs and I just got a pic of an awesome Stingray HS from Bass Central. It is one of the nicest natural basses I have seen. I was looking for a light one but this one weighs 10.5lbs. Do I look for a lighter one or just suck it up and get it!

Joey,

Grab that baby - before you lose it!!

Besides, it comes with a set of "weights" for workin' out. After a month or so, you'll be lookin' for a "heavier" bass!!

Very true. I had an 8.5 lb. Lakland Bob Glaub and sold it cause it was too damn light. I think I am going to pull the trigger

Joey - awesome!!

MM is going to have the "best shape" bass (and guitar) players around. After all, it kinda goes hand in hand.

Here's a new slogan for us - MM players don't ever "TAP" - unless it's on their guitar or bass!!

Lets start those repetitions!! Lol,lol,lol:)

My Natural SR5 is 11+ lbs. It is the only bass I own that actually hurts my back on a gig.

The extra pound or 2 makes a big difference IMO and I can't do a full gig with that bass (and it is my favorite).

My 30th Anni SR is about 9lbs and I can play that for 4 hours without a problem.

If 11lbs is comfortable for you, buy the SR.

my main stingray is only 8.5 pounds and with all the running around i do on stage in my country group, that's about as heavy of a bass i can go for a couple hours...
