I'm not a huge country music fan, but I do like Kenny Chesney. I noticed on his new cd album cover, Greatest Hits II, it shows several guitars owned by his live band..... One being a StingRay5 owned by his bassist Steve Marshall. Everytime I have seen Steve he is playing a Musicman.. He has some Bongos and a SR4 as well. Steve Marshall is a wonderful bassist, and its great to see him reppin' the Musicmans.

I play some country in cover settings, and the SR5 can do country well.

Steve Marshall is one heck of a player and has used EBMMs for as long as I can remember.

The StingRay5 is probably the most popular 5 string bass out there and I have seen a lot of country and rock players using them. It's good to see since some perceive these basses as strictly slap and pop funk machines (although they can do that too!).
