Stings for AL HH

Just got an AL HH and love it. What a great sounding and playing guitar! The G string that comes from the factory is a 0.16 per the EB site which says the guitar uses 'Custom Slinkies'. Couldn't find custom slinkies on the EB site and notice that all the 10-46 sets come with a 0.17 G string. EB doesn't sell or at least didn't list a 0.16 on their site.

Do all of you use 10-46 without any problem? Doesn't seem like a big issue, but just curious how others have coped with this.

I use Hybrid Slinkys on my HHAL. I've used 10s and 9s with out any issues. I've had mine since January 2010 so test away and find the strings you like best on it.

Switched to 9s on my Al with no issue

I assume that's a misprint on the AL HH webpage and it would be a 0.017 gauge G-string in a 10-46 set, not a 0.016 gauge.
